Hurricane Milton - Update

Please be advised the National Hurricane Center has issued a Hurricane Warning in Brevard County due to Hurricane Milton.  Our Data Center takes tropical storm and hurricane preparedness very seriously and we are closely monitoring all storm-related events.  A Hurricane Warning indicates weather conditions are very favorable for a hazard to occur. For ongoing information regarding Hurricane Milton, you can visit the National Hurricane Center website.  The Data Center will remain open to customers for as long as we feel weather conditions are safe. 

Our Facility Operations personnel have taken precautionary measures to guard against interruption of customer services due to the storm. Current Data Center status has been provided below. The Data Center will send specific Incident Notifications if, and when, additional incidents arise in accordance with our standard and customary processes.

 

Data Center Facility Status

- All generators have been fully load tested in preparation for hurricane season.

- All generators are run tested weekly.

- The generator's fuel tanks are adequately full and levels verified.

- Special arrangements have been made to make sure staff is available on site as necessary to maintain operability standards.

We are not expecting any disruptions in service during this storm.
